Abbey High Fliers Trampoline Club of Spalding have returned from a successful trip to the Hans Christian Andersen International Games in Odense, Denmark.

The HCA City Games featured more than 500 participants from all over the world in multiple sports ranging from football and trampolining to water polo and table tennis.

Abbey High Fliers had 13 trampoline competitors entered into this prestigious international competition with nine qualifying for the finals and six winning medals, including two champions.

All of the competitors completed their routines successfully and Abbey High Fliers had at least one representative on the podium in each category they entered.

Under 12 B girls: Lexi-Marie Kersley – gold medallist; Cerys Wright – bronze medallist; Rebecca Clarke - 5th.

Under-12 A girls: Jessica Ringsell – bronze medallist; Chelsea Cooper-Ellis – 4th.

Under-12 A boys: Samuel Archer – gold medallist.

13-14 girls: Olivia Casey – bronze medallist; Olivia Parkin – 12th; Lucy Robson – 14th; Christine Mumby – 15th.

15-16 girls: Jessica Jacob – bronze medallist; Alice Banks – 4th; Tegan Archer – 7th.
