JUNIOR RUGBY: Town deliver top showing

SPALDING RFC U14s 50 KESTEVEN U14 0: Much-changed Spalding prepared for this weekend’s tough test against Sleaford with a dominant win.

Harry Wilkinson-Roberts forced his way over for the first try, converted by James Hook – who then scored a try of his own.

James Sharpe was next to score with a forceful run, with Wilkinson-Roberts diving over for his second after a scrum near the line.

After half time JJ Faulkner carved his way through the defence to score, with Matt Hendry adding yet another try. Hook converted both.

Hendry was soon on the scoresheet again, as was Sharpe – with Hook again converting both tries.
