Spalding RFC under-15s cruised to a dominant 59-0 victory over Boston under-15s amid windy conditions.

James Thomas got the scoring under way with an unconverted try, before Adam Castle followed suite.

Next to cross the line was Tom Birdseye under the posts, allowing Harry Wilkinson-Roberts to convert.

It was 22-0 after 15 minutes when Corey Lewis powered over for another unconverted score, then JJ Faulkner set up Castle for five more points in the corner.

Not done there, Castle crashed over for another try – this time converted – to make it 100 individual points for the season.

After the beak, good passing freed Lewis for another try, which was again unconverted. Will Fletcher then rampaged forward and found that man Lewis, who scored again to reach his own century of points for the year.

Mark Hendy was next to touch down near the posts, before the same player made good ground and switched left to allow Will Jupp to cross for a try. The wind ensured that both went unconverted.

Spalding’s final try saw good contributions from Will Morgan and Ciaran Thompson before Lewis strode in for his fourth try of the afternoon.
