GOLF: Ann’s awesome show seals monthly medal

Ann Davis shot an impressive round to win the October Medal in Sutton Bridge Golf Club’s ladies’ section.

Her score of 78 (103-25=78) was two better than second-placed Jen Baines (103-23=80), with Janet Groves third (103-22=81).

Mixed section: Sutton Bridge halved with Heacham Manor (Terry Young & Linda Searle won 3&2; Roy & Margaret Fox won 4&2; Mike & Brenda Bell lost 3&2; Norman &Ann Davis lost 7&5; John and Carole Caney lost 5&4; George & Jen Baines W 4 and 3.
