WAKES: Struggle near foot of table continues

BOURNE TOWN 1 WELLINGBOROUGH WHITWORTH 3: All four goals came in the second half of this match, which left Bourne toiling in the bottom three of Division One.

Wellingborough are on a good run of getting points at Abbey Lawn and Saturday’s win made it nine from their last three visits.

Luke Raftery put them ahead but Bourne were level ten minutes later through Fernand Bass.

Raftery regained the lead for the visitors on 77 minutes and Dave Harris made it 3-1.
