TULIPS: Tolley back with a bang

Shane Tolley grabbed two goals on his return to the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field on Tuesday night.

The Tulips’ leading scorer returned with Histon in a friendly won 3-2 by the Blue Square Bet North side.

TJ Nightingale and Luke Kennedy were the Spalding scorers in a match which saw a debut for left-back Josh Freeman.

Pat Rayment said Freeman was “very pleasing” but the goals given away were “horrendous”.
