FORMER Lynn player Andy Stanhope is still full of admiration for the club.
The Tulips boss, who played for the Linnets in the 1990s, had no argument with Tuesday’s 4-0 league defeat at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.
He said: “We had some good chances in the first half and I was gutted we didn’t take any of them but we weren’t good in the second half.
“Lynn have a lot of good players and scored four great goals.
“Money isn’t everything but it does matter when you’re able to attract the kind of players they have.”
He added: “It’s a great club with a great following.”
But Stanhope still believes Lynn will finish runners-up in the league for the second season running. He’s backing Long Buckby.
