DAN Cotton is the latest target for Spalding United boss Pat Rayment.
The midfielder spent last season with Soham Town Rangers after leaving Stamford, where Rayment had a stint as assistant boss.
Cotton, who played for the Tulips under Phil Hubbard back in 2007, would be another huge addition to an already impressive squad.
The same can be said of Ryan Semple, who was expected to decide his future last night.
The ex-Boston United winger is believed to have three offers on the table, but Rayment is hopeful he will follow former team-mate Lee Canoville to the UCL Premier Division club.
• Spalding will host Stamford in a pre-season match on July 28 (3pm). Holbeach United will also host Pinchbeck United on July 10 (7.45pm).
