TIGERS: Shock second defeat of season

Jason Killbride scored direct from a corner as Holbeach United slipped to a shock 1-0 loss at Blackstones on Wednesday night.

The Tigers’ second UCL Premier Division loss of the season leaves them 10 points behind leaders St Ives Town with two games in hand.

Killbride’s decisive goal came four minutes before the break, with the ex-Bourne Town ace curling home off the inside of the far post.

Tommy Treacher rattled the bar in the second half, but John Chand’s side failed to score away from home for the first time this season.
