Holbeach United v Wellingborough Town (Saturday, 3pm): LOAN star Simon Mowbray should finally make his Tigers debut in this crucial Carter’s Park clash.

The Stamford striker has been struggling with a groin problem since arriving for a month-long stint with Holbeach and has missed the last two games.

He will definitely be in the squad against the Doughboys, as John Chand’s charges bid to shake off their Jekyll and Hyde tag.

Wellingborough won the September reverse 2-0 and sit eight points clear of the Tigers – who badly need a win to haul themselves away from the UCL Premier Division drop zone.

Chand said: “You look at this game as one we should win – but which Holbeach will turn up?

“If it’s the one that played so well for 70 minutes last week, I’d say yes. But if we play like we did at Boston Town (lost 4-0), then we could lose to anyone.

“Wellingborough were fortunate to beat us last time, but they’ve improved and added a few new players.”

Ant Slater is Holbeach’s only absentee at Carter’s Park, with Mowbray likely to be on the bench.

Meanwhile, Boston Town’s Nathan Stainfield will not be joining the Tigers after they slapped in a seven day approach.
