HOLBEACH United have pulled a rabbit out of the hat by snapping up highly-rated striker Sam Mulready on loan.
Boss John Chand has secured the Gainsborough Trinity striker hitman for an initial 28-day period, with the option to take him for a further two months should all parties agree.
Teenager Mulready, who has also played for Grimsby Town and Boston United, goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s FA Cup trip to Arnold Town (3pm).
A buzzing Chand said: “Sam is a great goalscorer – and that is shown by a progressive club like Gainsborough putting him on contract.
“We kept this one under the radar, but now feel that we’re ready to rumble for the new season.”
