Holbeach United United left basement side Huntingdon Town with a 3-1 victory last night.
Jordan Thomas handed the Tigers a 22nd-minute lead from the spot, Dan Gosling winning the penalty.
The lead was doubled just after the half-hour mark, Ollie Pinner heading home from a Holbeach corner.
Things got a little nervy for Tom Roberts’ side when the Croms pulled one back nine minutes into the second half.
But with 10 minutes to go, Matt Warfield made sure of the points as he found the net from a free kick.
The result sees the Tigers remain in fifth spot in the United Counties League Premier Division, 10 points behind pacesetters Peterborough Sports.
Holbeach host Harborough Town on Saturday (KO 3pm).
