RANGERS: Weston makes Deeping exit

ADAM Weston has handed Deeping Rangers a pre-season blow by moving to UCL Premier Division rivals Peterborough Northern Star.

The midfield ace was Tuncay Korkmaz’s skipper at Outgang Road last season as Deeping finished fourth.

Weston’s switch isn’t too much of a surprise, considering brother Jamie is now boss of city side Star.

Rangers have at least secured the services of former Stamford midfielder Harry Deane, who had interested Holbeach United earlier in the summer.

Korkmaz’s men beat ICA Sports 6-0 on Tuesday night and picked up a 1-1 draw at Dereham Town on Saturday in their most recent pre-season matches.
