Spalding United are now fourth in EvoStik Division One South after a 2-0 win at Sheffield-based side Stocksbridge Park Steels today.

Goals by Lewis Webb and Jamie Thurlbourne gave the Tulips their fourth league win in a row.

Meanwhile, Holbeach United were 2-0 winners at Eynesbury Rovers with a 13th goal of the season for red-hot striker Jamie Clarke and a Lee Beeson tap-in.

The result leaves the Tigers two points behind UCL Premier Division leaders AFC Rushden and Diamonds.

But the result of the day came at the Hayden Witham Stadium where Deeping Rangers ran out 4-1 winners over free-scoring Thurnby Nirvana.

Joe Braithwaite, Charlie Coulson, Adam Scotcher and right-back Dan Flack were on target for Tuncay Korkmaz’s side.

In UCL Division 1, Bourne Town shared the spoils 1-1 with Bugbrooke St Michaels after a late equaliser from Jones de Souza which leaves the Wakes 15th.
