Spalding United v S&L Corby (Saturday, 3pm): Andy Stanhope admits that his Tulips face an uphill task as they bid to snap their four-game losing streak.
Visitors Stewarts and Lloyds are one of the UCL Premier Division’s in-form teams, having won their last three outings.
Spalding are sweating on the fitness of 11-goal Simon Mowbray ahead of the clash, as they bid to end of run of more than 360 minutes without a goal.
Stanhope said: “It’ll be very difficult, they have one of the biggest budgets in the league.
“The boys are a bit short on confidence and really need a win to get back on track.
“I believe in them and I’m sure we’ll move onwards and upwards.
“If we play like I know we can, I don’t see any reason why we can’t get a result at the weekend.”
The fitness of Mowbray could prove key to the Tulips’ chances. He will undertake a fitness test before the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field tie, but is rated very doubtful.
