Spalding United and Holbeach United both face tests of their respective title credentials away from home tonight.

The Tulips travel to seventh-paced Gresley in Evo-Stik Division One South for an “extremely difficult” challenge, according to Spalding manager Pat Rayment.

Life should be a little easier for the Tigers who take on 16th-placed Desbrough Town who had nine goals put past them in their last outing against league leaders AFC Rushden and Diamonds.

Meanwhile, Deeping Rangers are in Hinchingbrooke Cup semi-final action at the Haydon Witham Stadium where they play Potton United.

Tuncay Korkmaz’s side previously beat Stotfold and Godmanchester Rovers to reach the last four and a final against either Peterborough, Northern Star, Yaxley or Bourne Town awaits the winners.
