UCL PREMIER DIVISION PREVIEW: OADBY TOWN v HOLBEACH UNITED

The Tigers are in top form as they prepare for two crucial games in the UCL Premier Division.

Holbeach travel to struggling Oadby Town on Saturday before making the trip to local rivals and fellow high-fliers Deeping United on Tuesday evening.

And United go into those fixtures on the back of a crushing 5-0 win over Harborough Town at Carters Park.

They bounced back from their disappointing FA Vase exit the previous week to inflict a first defeat in seven on the Bees.

It took 38 minutes for the Tigers to break the deadlock with a Jake Clitheroe goal.

Two minutes later Lee Beeson doubled the lead, expertly converting a spot kick he had won himself.

The outcome was all but settled two minutes into first half added time when Jordan Thomas found the net for number three.

Beeson doubled his personal tally after 73 minutes and Gary King completed the nap hand a minute into time added at the end to round off a dominant display.

The win puts Holbeach in a handy fourth place with three games in hand on the clear leaders Leicester Nirvana and second-placed Newport Pagnell Town.

Kempston moved above the Tigers on Tuesday with a 3-1 victory over Northampton Sileby Rangers.
