Holbeach United are aiming to finish the season on a high by securing fourth place.

They face Harborough Town at Carter’s Park on Saturday knowing that a home victory would take them above Yaxley.

After four successive draws, the Tigers want to end the campaign in style – despite leading the way in the Premier Division title race and then falling off the pace.

Assistant-manager Tom Roberts said: “This is a great opportunity to finish the season on a high in front of our own fans.

“It would be nice to give them something back for their fantastic support.

“It’s important to finish as high as possible and fourth would be an achievement.

“In the last few games we’ve had to cope with a lot of injuries and unavailability but the reserve-team players have stepped up, done a good job and shown the togetherness at the club.

“I’d also like to say a big thank you to Steve Welsh at Boston United who has been amazing by allowing us to have four of his youth-team lads.”

Stacy Cartwright and Gary King are suspended on Saturday.
