Hat-tricks by Zak Munton and Andrew Tidswell fired Bourne Town and Holbeach United to big wins on Saturday.

Tidswell converted a couple of free-kicks and then completed his treble in open play as the Tigers ran out 5-1 winners at Cogenhoe United in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division.

Jordan Thomas had doubled the lead just after half-time and Josh Ford made it 5-0 before a late penalty.

Munton’s hat-trick came inside the opening quarter of Bourne’s 6-1 rout of rock-bottom Burton Park Wanderers in Division One.

He tapped home the opener at Abbey Lawn and then made it 2-0 on 11 minutes with a cheeky finish.

Chris Gilligan’s own-goal was followed by a brilliant lob from Munton and then Tyler Sculthorpe got on the scoresheet midway through the first half.

The Wakes conceded just past the hour mark but substitute Jack Humphries made it six on 90 minutes.

Spalding United’s trip to Carlton Town was postponed along with several others across the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

Tulips boss Marcus Ebdon has arranged a friendly against Boston United under-21s on Tuesday (7pm).

Deeping Rangers’ home game against unbeaten leaders AFC Kempston Rovers was called off around an hour before kick-off following a third pitch inspection.
