Spalding boss Pat Rayment has tipped star striker Andy Tidswell to become an even better player next season.
Tulips’ leading scorer missed much of the campaign due to a pelvic condition but has undergone injections to cure the problem.
He said: “Andy has had this condition for a few seasions and was only playing at 70 per cent.
“Had we had a fully fit ‘Tids’, he would have scored 60 to 70 goals.
“We are led to believe the injections will cure the problem so it will be great to have him fully fit next season.”
Tidswell is one of four players already under contract for next season, the others being striker Mark Jones, skipper Jamie Stevens and central defender Nathan Stainfield.
Influential midfielders Lewis Webb and Chris Hall are being offered new contracts but Rayment admits he will give them a time limit to commit to new deals.
He is also talking a Conference Premier player he describes as ‘experienced but with plenty of years still ahead of him.”
