Bourne Town manager Rafa Mazzarella admits losing striker Jezz Goldson-Williams was “always going to happen”.
He moved to Deeping Rangers at the end of last week and made his debut on Saturday.
Mazzarella said: “He has got all the attributes to be a good striker.
“It was always going to happen that he would attract interest at a higher level.”
Bourne are at home to fourth-placed Peterborough Sports tonight.
Mazzarella added: “I went to watch them at the weekend when they lost 4-1 against Northampton Spencer who we play on Saturday. We know it will be a tough game.”
