Spalding United are aiming to complete a hat-trick of wins over Coalville Town this term.

The Tulips have already won at Owen Street Sports Ground in the Emirates FA Cup second qualifying round.

The Leicestershire side were also beaten in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South at the Sir Halley Stewart Field.

However, that was only one of four league defeats for Coalville who are currently in second place.

Spalding slipped out of the promotion play-off pack on Tuesday night following Leek Town’s goalless draw at home to Market Drayton Town.

Although Marcus Ebdon’s side are now unbeaten in five games, they have dropped vital points in draws against Sheffield, Loughborough Dynamo and Tividale.

The Tulips have also gone three months without an away win since beating Leek 3-0.
