Holbeach United have signed versatile former Boston United defender Liam Parker and are hopeful of adding at least one more signing tonight.

Parker put pen to paper at the club’s first pre-season training session last Thursday and the club hope to add a player joint-boss Graham Drury describes as “an experienced ball-playing central midfielder, who has played at a good level,” when the Tigers are again put through their paces tonight.

Drury said: “I am delighted Liam has signed as he was one of our top targets.

“He can play at right-back, centre-half or central midfield and he’s very fit.”
