Spalding United have been drawn at home to Grantham Town in the Lincolnshire FA Senior Cup.

Every knockout game for the Tulips this term has been away - but they will kick off next season at the Sir Halley Stewart Field.

Victory could set up a reunion with former boss Dave Frecklington at Gainsborough Trinity.

His first game in charge of Spalding last summer saw Rees Longville-Daley hit a last-gasp winner in the Senior Cup at Boston United.

Round one (to be played on or by July 10): Stamford v Grimsby Town.

Quarter-finals (to be played on or by July 17): Lincoln City v Gainsborough Trinity (Match One); Lincoln
United v Boston United (Match Two); Stamford/Grimsby Town v Scunthorpe United (Match Three); Spalding United v Grantham Town (Match Four).

Semi-finals (to be played on or by July 24): Winners of Match Two v Winners of Match Three; Winners of Match One v Winners of Match Four.

Final: date and venue to be agreed when the teams are known.

For the third consecutive season the competition will be supported by one of the country’s leading insurers, Bluefin Sport, who are well known for their industry knowledge and expertise.
