Ellis Humble is ready to link up again with familiar faces in Spalding United’s defence next season.
The 21-year-old will be back with the Tulips after spending last season at Scarborough Athletic.

He said: “It was nice to get a deal sorted out early – and, to be honest, it wasn’t a really difficult decision.
“I know the rest of the defence from my previous spell and I’m good friends with Paul Walker who can’t speak highly enough of this squad.
“I struggled to nail down a regular place when I first came to Spalding.
“So I had to go away and get game time last season. I was grateful to Scarborough and it’s just a shame we missed out in the First Division North play-off semi-final.
“I went to support Paul and watch Spalding’s play-off final at Witton Albion so it made my decision even easier when I saw all the players who had been at the club in my first spell.
“I prefer to play in central defence and I’ll try my best to replace Nathan Stainfield – although I can’t promise that!
“The majority of the squad have stayed together and our target is getting promoted.”
