Holbeach boss John Chand admits he would love to bring former skipper Jamie Stevens back to the club but insists his priority is finding an assistant or joint-boss.

Chand took the Tigers to the UCL title two years ago and, after a season out, is trying to put a strong side together.

Johnny Allan, Adam Jackson, Tom Roberts and Gary King have already signed and Chand wants to bring back Dan Flack and Andy Toyne but he insists: “My priority is bringing in someone to work with me. I have spoken to someone who has managed clubs to success at two or three levels higher than us.”
