BREAKING NEWS: Chand resigned after three of his players signed for Spalding

Have your say

Spalding United have signed four new players this week, including three who have defected from managerless rivals Holbeach United

Joining the Tulips from the Tigers are defenders Jamie Stevens and Adam Jackson and midfielder Jonny Allen. Influential midfielder Lewis Webb joins from Corby Town.

Rayment has also failed in bids to sign former Peterborough player Gareth Jelleyman and ex-King’s Lynn striker Russell Dunkley.

Meanwhile, former Holbeach manager John Chand has said the three local players quitting the Tigers for Spalding was key in his decision to resign.
