Rafa Mazzarella expects a tough test in Bourne Town’s bid for a fifth successive win.

The Wakes face Rothwell Corinthians at Abbey Lawn on Saturday with the Northamptonshire side sitting three places and nine points above them.

Bourne boss Mazzarella said: “We have both been going well and I’d put them down as slight favourites for this game regardless.

“We are coming to grips with the division and there has been a big improvement.

“I think the turning point came when we lost 5-0 at Potton United at the start of November.

“After that game we made a decision to change things around and we’ve been on a good run since then by playing some pretty impressive football as well.”
