Tuncay Korkmaz won’t be changing Deeping Rangers’ approach on Saturday.
They head to AFC Rushden & Diamonds knowing a big crowd will expect the leaders to record a home win.
But Korkmaz has no plans to ‘park the bus’ and defend for 90 minutes.
He said: “Hopefully we can repeat last season’s result when we won there.
“This campaign has been a bit touch and go in many ways but we have been consistent in the last 10 games.
“It’s an opportunity for the lads to play in front of a few hundred fans.
“There are no excuses now because the youngsters have gained experience in the UCL and done well so far.
“We know the resources which Diamonds have got and they should be at the top of the league.
“It will need something special to take the title away from them. It’s theirs to lose.
“But we will approach this game like every other week, even though we are away to title contenders.
“It’s a good occasion for us. We’ve had a rest after the Boston Town game was called off and we are raring to go again.”
