Tydd St Mary have reached their maiden Sunday cup final.

They thrashed West Winch William Burt 7-0 in the King’s Lynn & District Sunday League’s Hardy Sheen Trophy.

Last weekend’s semi-final was switched to Sutton Bridge after Tydd’s pitch was declared unplayable.

Jamie Taylor led the way with three goals, supported by Ryan Jones (2), Ryan Smith and Gary Simons.

The final against CSKA Young Boys will be played at Wisbech Town on Sunday, April 17 (1.30pm).

Meanwhile, Punchbowl Panthers suffered their first defeat of the Spalding Sunday League campaign as they lost 4-2 at Swineshead Institute. Guy Mantle got all of the home side’s goals.
