Moulton Harrox warmed up for tonight’s (Tuesday) Lincs Junior Cup final with a crucial 1-1 draw against Peterborough Premier Division title rivals Netherton United on Saturday.

An Ian Bradbury goal cancelled out Fraser Sturgess’ strike for third-placed Netherton at Broad Lane, leaving Harrox – unbeaten in 18 games – a point clear at the summit.

The point keeps the Moulton treble dream alive, as they bid to clinch their first trophy of the season against Gainsborough Town at Sincil Bank tonight (7.45pm).

Club legend Paul Crowson said: “We probably go into the game as underdogs, but this is as strong a squad as I can remember us having.

“We won’t talk about the treble, as we’ve often been the bridesmaids in the league and cup. But it has to be one of our best-ever seasons.”
