HOLBEACH United Ladies’ Football Club are looking for a manager to lead them into a new era.
The girls, who had a tough time of it last season, are looking forward to life in S-Tech Women’s League – which will see them up against local rivals Deeping Diamonds, Bourne and Wisbech St Mary.
They are hoping to appoint an experienced boss, male or female, who can dedicate time to both training and matches.
Training is already under way at the Hallgate playing field in Holbeach on Thursday nights (7pm-8.30pm), while matches will take place on a Sunday.
Holbeach ace Jackie Mitchell said: “We really want a manager who is passionate and committed. We’ve got a great group of girls here and we really improved last season.
“Somebody with a bit of experience in the game would really help us improve.”
Anybody interested in taking up the position should contact Jackie on 07714 721164. Any players aged 16 and over are also free to try out for the team.
