JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Soccer starlets are spoilt for choice

POPULAR Arsenal Soccer Schools are bringing four courses to South Lincolnshire next month.

The Gunners will be hosting expert sessions at venues in Spalding, Holbeach, Bourne and Deeping, with children of any footballing ability between the ages of five and 13 welcome to attend.

Course dates are as follows (all 10.30am-3pm): Spalding High School – April 11 and 12; Deeping Leisure Centre – April 13 and 14; Bourne Town FC (Abbey Lawn) – April 19th; Holbeach Primary School – April 20.

Every child attending the course will receive a gift and certificate.

• ARSENAL are also offering goalkeeping training with their specialist coach at Pinchbeck United FC (Knight Street) on April 24 (5.30pm-7.30pm).

• SPALDING Athletic are running an under-7 team next season.

The team will play matches in the Peterborough Junior Alliance in the 2011/12 campaign, with all school year two pupils welcome to come along and get involved.

Training takes place on Wednesday nights (6-7pm) at Leaveslake Drove, West Pinchbeck,PE11 3QJ and is £2 per session.

Players are trained by FA qualified coaches who have undergone CRB Checks.

Interested players can simply turn up on Wednesday night, there is no need to book in.
