INDOOR FOOTBALL: Another top title leaves J2FC done up to the nines
Another action-packed season in the Spalding Indoor Five-a-side League has come to and end, with J2FC A taking a ninth successive title.
They remained unbeaten throughout the Premier Division campaign, finishing an impressive 15 points ahead of runners-up Athletico Kebab at the Castle Sports Complex .
J2FC A’s top scorer Ash Wilson, who netted 17 times, finished as the league’s leading marksman.
Having finished second in the top flight, Athletico Kebab did manage to take the other major top flight silverware up for grabs.
They landed the Knockout Cup, beating Skonto 4-2 on penalties after the duo finished level at 2-2.

Skonto started much the better and raced into an early 2-0 lead through Mareks Anastasjeus and captain Ivars Lazdins. But Kebab sliced through to level things up, with Ben Holland and Jimmy Walker netting.
Walker was sin-binned soon after, but his side held on to force penalties .
The Divison One league crown went the way of J2FC B, who edged out unlucky Skonto on goal difference.
The final piece of silverware up for grabs, The Plate Competition, went the way of EWT, who beat Average Joes 4-2 on penalties after the two drew 1-1.Danny Hunt had put Joes ahead, before Ricardo Silva levelled.
