MORE than 70 youngsters enjoyed some fun football training from Holbeach United Youth during their school holiday.

The three-day camp at Fleet playing field was the second of its kind – and this one was much bigger and better.

Co-organiser Tommy Gostic said it was a great event.

This time there were three age groups and the team of helpers included elder brothers of those taking part.

Tommy said: “I’d like to say a special thanks to all the kids who came to the event and all the helpers who made the three days very enjoyable and a great success.

“Also a really big thank you to Swepstone’s butchers who donated £130 to the team.

“They have given the team more than £500 over the last two seasons.

“Without local businesses like Swepstone’s we could not run these football events.”
