AFTER weeks of anticipation the fixtures for the new ChromaSport and Trophies United Counties League season were finally announced over the weekend.

The campaign kicks off on August 13, with relegated Spalding United making to trip to Northampton Spencer in the Premier Division and Holbeach United making the trip to promoted champions Kempston Rovers.

Also in the top flight, Deeping Rangers play host to Division One runners-up Thrapston Town, while Bourne Town welcome Northampton ON Chenecks in the second tier.

There is a tasty pair of derby fixtures the following Tuesday, with the Tigers visiting Boston Town and Blackstones hosting the Tulips.

Deeping also have Spalding (August 23) and Holbeach (September 6) to play in their opening five fixtures.

South Holland rivals Spalding and Holbeach clash at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field on September 20, with the Carter’s Park return pencilled in for November 16.

Tigers fans also have a Boxing Day trip to title favourites King’s Lynn Town FC to look forward to, while Spalding and Deeping are at Peterborough Northern Star and Blackstones respectively.

The Wakes are also on the road the day after Christmas, with a trip to Huntingdon Town on the cards.

The vast majority of the 2012 fixtures are yet to be decided, but here is a provisional list of the 2011 schedule for our four teams.
