SPALDING United, Holbeach United and Deeping Rangers ended their respective seasons with crushing defeats on Easter Monday.
The Tulips were thumped 4-0 by Carlton Town at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field in their last Evo-Stik League First Division South fixture before being officially relegated.
Curtis Shaw (pen 12), Jermain Hollis (18), Steve Chaplin (65) and Terry Hawkridge (79) fired the goals to sentence Andy Stanhope’s side to a 32nd defeat from 42 league games this campaign.
In the UCL Premier Division, Holbeach finished with a more respectable 3-0 defeat at mighty King’s Lynn Town FC.
Chris Bacon (45) gave the title-chasing Linnets the lead and Jamie Thurlbourne (85) doubled the advantage.
Mitch Griffiths then missed a penalty for the Tigers, before Danny White scored a third for Lynn in the final minute.
It wasn’t all good news for the hosts though, as St Neots Town sealed the title with a 4-1 success over St Ives Town.
Elsewhere, Deeping were battered 4-1 at Blackstones. David Burton-Jones (11) opened the scoring for Stones against his former club, before Michael Nelson (52) made it 2-0.
Steve Burns (68) put the result beyond all doubt, only for Mark Jones (68) to pull one back. However, Robbie Pearce completed the scoring 15 minutes from time.
In UCL Division One, Bourne Town were beaten 2-1 at Huntingdon Town. Goals from Charlie Bowen (26) and Dan Drane (44) had Huntingdon in control, before Alec Robinson (62) notched for the Wakes.
