HOLBEACH United stayed perfect in the UCL Premier Division after beating Deeping Rangers 3-1 at Outgang Road on Tuesday night.
The Tigers, who have a dreadful record at the home of one of their closest rivals, started like a steam train and were 2-0 up inside 11 minutes through Dan Flack (9) and Jonny Allen (11).
David Burton-Jones did get Tuncay Korkmaz’s Rangers back into the contest with a strike on 20 minutes, but Robbie Harris (37) soon restored the two-goal cushion with Holbeach’s third before the break.
No further goals were added in the second period, meaning John Chand’s side have made it five league wins from as many games and end Deeping’s 22-game unbeaten streak in the UCL Premier Division, which dated back to January.
As a result, the Tigers – who are the only side with a 100 per cent league record – go third in the standings, with Deeping dropping down to fifth.
