FOOTBALL: Shepshed v Tulips postponed

Spalding United’s scheduled UCL Premier Division trip to Shepshed Dynamo tonight (Tuesday) has been called off.

Heavy rain and yet more snow ensured that the Dovecote surface failed a 10am pitch inspection, meaning the Tulips will have yet another fixture to fit in to their already busy run-in.

Spalding still have 16 league games to play before the end of the season, as well as a potential run in the UCL Cup – starting with a home tie against Cogenhoe United in the second round on Saturday.
