Spalding United are hoping to give their fans a pair of Christmas presents after making seven-day approaches for two talented midfielders.
Tulips boss Pat Rayment has confirmed that he is looking to bring Yaxley’s Rob Hughes and Stamford’s Dan Lawlor to the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.
Hughes is no stranger to the Tulips, having enjoyed two seperate spells with the club. He also was part of the Holbeach United side that won the UCL Premier Division title last term, alongside Jamie Stevens, Andrew Tidswell and Adam Jackson.
Exciting talent Lawlor is a former Peterborough United youngster.
He turned out a few times for Peterborough Northern Star this season before joining the Daniels.
