HOLBEACH United’s game at Daventry United last night (Wednesday) was rained off.
The UCL Premier Division clash was postponed at 4.30pm on match day, with puddles present all over the Communications Park surface.
League rules dictate that the game must be played before April 28 – and with both sides having a free date on Saturday, Tigers boss John Chand has offered to host the game at Carter’s Park (Daventry’s ground is being used by Daventry Town).
The only other options for the Motormen are to host Holbeach next Thursday night, or hand them the points by way of forfeit.
