FOOTBALL: Holbeach bidding to open up 18-point gap

Holbeach United can deliver another big blow to their UCL Premier Division title rivals tonight (Tuesday).

The Tigers visit struggling S & L Corby (7.45pm), bidding to go 18 points clear of second-placed St Ives Town and a whopping 24 ahead of South Holland neighbours Spalding United, who both have games in hand.

Meanwhile, Bourne Town host Deeping Rangers in the quarter-finals of the Hinchingbrooke Cup (7.45pm). It’s the first competitive meeting between the old foes since the Wakes were demoted from the UCL Premier Division in 2010.
