FOOTBALL: Harris leaves Holbeach United; Tulips make signing

Striker Robbie Harris has left Holbeach United but Craig Parker is staying put.

Harris, who switched from King’s Lynn Town over the summer, has joined Chromasport UCL Premier Division leaders St Ives Town.

Parker, who was the subject of an approach by Spalding United, is staying at Carter’s Park. The Tulips have since signed Brigg Town’s Josh Freeman.

Meanwhile, the Tigers’ bid for success on several fronts continues on Wednesday night.

The defending Lincolnshire FA Senior Trophy holders host Bourne Town at Carter’s Park in the quarter-finals.

The Tigers are through to round three of the United Counties League Knockout Cup after a 4-2 success at Eynesbury Rovers on Saturday.

The Tulips travel to Blackstones on Wednesday hoping to strengthen their league title challenge.

And Tuesday night sees Deeping Rangers try to recover quickly from the disappointment of their FA Carlsberg Vase exit. They host Boston Town (7.45pm) in the league.
