Former Holbeach United youngster Danny Andrew made his England ‘C’ debut on Tuesday night.
The left-sider, who now plays for Macclesfield Town, played 90 minutes as Paul Fairclough’s side were beaten 1-0 by Latvia under-23 in Jelgava.
The England C team is made up of Non-League players aged 23 and under.
Tuesday’s side featured 13 debutants, with England using the game as preparation for next year’s International Challenge Trophy.
Eduards Visnakovs netted the only goal of the game in the first half.
Andrew, who previously played for Peterborough United, was released by Cheltenham at the end of last season.
