BOURNE TOWN 1 (Currall 25) PINCHBECK UNITED 1 (Dunn 85): PINCHBECK’S encouraging pre-season form continued as they held the Wakes on Tuesday night.

Bourne went ahead through Jonny Currall’s long range bolt from the blue, but player/boss Ian Dunn hit back with a late equaliser against a side he used to captain.

It’s the second time in four days that ambitious United have held UCL opposition, having drawn 2-2 with Sleaford Town on Saturday.

And once again, they were left frustrated to only share the spoils.

Dunn said: “I think we deserved to win, but didn’t take our chances. They had one shot from 30 yards all game and it went in.”

Pinchbeck visit Wisbech Town on Saturday (3pm).
