Deeping Rangers sealed a sensational swoop to bring goal-machine forward Josh Moreman back to the club on Friday.
Rangers boss Tuncay Korkmaz moved to sign Moreman from higher-graded Corby Town after both player and club agreed to a mutual termination of his contract.
Equally adept on the wing or up front, the speedy striker netted 37 goals for Deeping under Korkmaz back in the 2011/12 season.
Moreman could make his second Deeping debut against Swaffham Town in the FA Vase tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm), should he receive FA clearance.
Deeping boss Korkmaz said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Josh back to Deeping.
“It is great to see him back at a club where he has done so well in the past.
“There is no doubt Josh is capable of playing much higher up the non-league ladder, but he seems to be content to be back in the UCL.”
Deeping are currently second in the UCL Premier Division after their 3-2 win at champions Holbeach United on Wednesday night, a point behind leaders Huntingdon Town.
