Tuncay Korkmaz has a selection headache ahead of Deeping Rangers’ home duel with Wellingborough Town on Saturday.
No less than seven key men are struggling with knocks ahead of the Outgang Road clash (3pm) – and boss Korkmaz had to cancel Tuesday’s training session in a bid to wrap his players in cotton wool.
Lewis Stone, Ciaran Holt, Tommy Treacher, Ondre Odain, Spencer Tinkler, Harry Deane and David Burton-Jones are all walking wounded as Rangers bid to shake off their FA Cup loss at Gorleston last time out.
Boss Korkmaz said: “I’m hoping a few of the lads may be fit – but we’ve got a big squad here and those coming in have a chance to keep the shirt.
“People will think we should beat Wellingborough at home, but it’s early in the season and we’re still finding our fitness.”
