Deeping Rangers’ fine form continued on Tuesday night as they saw off Harrowby United 4-2 in the Lincs FA Senior Trophy at Outgang Road.

Alex Beck (2), Mitch Griffiths and Ondre Odain netted for Tuncay Korkmaz’s UCL Premier Division table-toppers, who progress to the second round of the revamped county competition.

Striker Beck put the hosts ahead on ten minutes, but UCL Division One high-fliers Harrowby replied when Scott Webb netted nine minutes later.

Griffiths (52) and Odain (72) looked to have settled the tie for Rangers, only for Lee Shaw (80) to set up a tense final ten minutes.

But Beck had other ideas, firing the clincher five minutes from time.

Elsewhere, Bourne Town suffered a 5-3 UCL Division One defeat at Potton United – and a ninth beating in 13 league games so far this season.

A Jamie Lally hat-trick and Callum Forster’s strike fired Potton 4-0 ahead, before the Wakes finally came alive.

Jason Kilbride (56) and Seb Hood (61) made it 4-2, before Kilbride netted his second from the spot 20 minutes from time.

Potton killed the comeback through Steve Muggridge eight minutes from time.
