Ruthless Spalding United destroyed Boston Town 12-0 in the UCL Premier Division on Tuesday night, while leaders Deeping Rangers smashed Kempston Rovers 6-3.

In what was Spalding’s biggest win in recent memory, strikers Mark Jones (4), Andrew Tidswell (3) and Sam Mullarkey (3) all netted hat-tricks to batter county rivals Boston at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.

Nathan Stainfield and Dan Cotton also got in on the act for Pat Rayment’s men, who will have sent shockwaves through the UCL Premier Division.

To make matters worse for Ian Dunn’s pummelled Poachers, they had Liam Bull sent off while the score was 7-0.

It’s now a perfect 12 wins from as many league games for the Tulips - but they’re still a point behind leaders Deeping.

Goals from Josh Moreman (2), Mitch Griffths (2), Matt Heron and David Burton-Jones did have Tuncay Korkmaz’s side 6-0 up at Outgang Road, before a late Kempston rally.

Deeping are now 13 league games unbeaten ahead of a tough trip to high-flying Cogenhoe United on Saturday.
