BOURNE TOWN 2

(Jarman 20, Easson 44)

HARBOROUGH TOWN 1 (Barnett 60)

ON-SONG Bourne delivered one of their top showings of the season as they dented Harborough’s UCL Division One title hopes.

Dan Jarman, now back outfield after a lengthy stint as a keeper, opened the scoring at the Abbey Lawn on Saturday with a classy effort.

The lead was doubled before the break when Ben Easson notched his first since joining from Blackstones.

Rob Barnett’s 29th goal of the season reduced the arrears after the break.

Bourne boss Darren Munton said: “I couldn’t be more proud of the players. It’s been a really hard season but days like this make it all worthwhile.”
